Georgia Secretary of State Ambassador Program

The goal of the Secretary of State's Student Ambassador Program is to provide Georgia's high school students an opportunity to engage as leaders within their schools and communities. Through the program students gain leadership experience by engaging in Georgia civics, encouraging voter registration among their peers and volunteering within their communities. The Secretary of State's Student Ambassador Program is designed for 10th-12th grade students.

Each school is allowed to nominate up to 9 students to represent their school.    The students decide as a team what their goals are for their school and the means of achieving them.  Throughout the year, the teams will organize and carry out various events. For each event that they conduct, they receive points towards our statewide competition. The school with the most points at the end of the year is recognized at the State Capitol.

Inspire Homeschool Academy is the only homeschool program in the State of  Georgia participating in this incredible program!

Lunch, Study Hall and Social Time

Social Time is important to homeschoolers, that's why Inspire allows a whole hour for lunch and recess. Students need time to relax, socialize, and enjoy each other's company.

With a playground full of equipment and beautiful hillside to take a blanket out on and sit and eat your lunch or read a book at, lunch is a time of enjoyment.

Lunch - There is no charge for students to stay and eat lunch. Students need to provide their own lunches from home.

Study Hall - The purpose of study hall is to be a safe place to go for students who have a break in between two classes or for those who are there early/late because a sibling is in a class while they wait.

Students are expected to bring homework, a book or something quiet to do while in study hall.  There is no charge for study hall, but it must be reserved as a "class".

Social Events and Field Trips

Social Events are important to homeschoolers. Inspire understands this and thats why we have many events planned throughout the year that are outside of a classroom setting.

Inspire family picnics, museum field trips,  trips to Washington DC or to the 4-H Education Centers, proms and field days. There is so much we have in store!

Let us know what you would like to do with your Inspire Family.
