Reading Adventures

Does your child love a good adventure book? Does he or she like to imagine that they are a part of the action that they just read about?

If so, then this class is for them! 

Using books that kids love to read as the starting point, we will recreate the action in the stories through arts and crafts, lap-books, and additional reading suggestions. We will go on an adventure while reading and crafting, learning and creating, all while making new friends. Could we go on a treasure hunt?  Look for clues and solve a mystery at the school? Who knows what surprise adventures await us!

You will get a schedule with the books in advance and your child will be expected to read the books along with the class schedule.

Class time:  1:00pm - 1:55pm - Tuesday

Recommended Age/Grade: 4th through 6th grade
