NASA STEM Investigations

 

NASA and STEM Investigations presents a fun and interactive curriculum that integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through the use of project-based learning.


This hands-on class will have middle-schoolers building projects with working models of simple machines such as a seesaw, a rolling vehicle, and merry-go-rounds.  Students will learn about structures and forces, levers, wheels and axles, pulleys and gears! Problem solving skills will come into play as they work in teams and have a great time working on activities designed around creativity, exploring, investigating in a fun group environment! 

 

Class time:  1:00pm - 1:55pm - Tuesday

Recommended Age/Grade: 6th through 8th grade

Cost:  $50 a month
