Minecraft Masters

This class will immerse students in the expansive world of Minecraft, and will challenge student’s ingenuity and problem solving skills as they navigate through several engineering challenges. Students will learn how to use teamwork and manage resources like an engineer in the real world. Students work in multiplayer mode to mine, craft and build together to survive. Building in Minecraft allows students to experiment with designs and materials, all without the risks associated with building structures in reality. Students will be able to get on our school's private MinecraftEdu server to work together on multiple challenges and tasks. 

 

Our class will you a version of Minecraft world you can’t get on your own! "MinecraftEdu is a school-ready remix of the original smash hit game Minecraft, played by over 30 million people worldwide. Created by teachers for classroom use and officially supported by Mojang, the company behind Minecraft, MinecraftEdu contains a set of powerful yet simple tools to fine-tune the Minecraft experience for learning."

 

Class time: 3:00pm - 3:55pm - Tuesday

Recommended Age/Grade: 3rd through 8th grade

Supply Fee: $18 for MinecraftEdu user license
