INSPIRE HOMESCHOOL ACADEMY

We are in the process of forming our own JV and Varsity Equestrian Team.  We will ride with Copper Hill Sporthorses, which is an established IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) Team.  When we have 3 riders from Inspire, we will be considered our own “team” but still practice/ride with Jennifer and Copper Hill.

You do not need to own a horse or be a proficient rider to join the team.  Many people are beginner riders. You will take weekly riding lesson with your team based on your skill level.

​

Because Equestrian is such a unique sport, anyone who is interested will pay CHS directly.

Jennifer Johnson is the owner and trainer. She has more than thirty years of experience showing and training on the USEA circuit focusing on pony hunters, children's hunters, and jumpers. She has extensive experience with hunter equitation where she focuses on safety of rider and correct position on the horse. Jennifer has taught in the public schools for thirteen years before having her own children.

Cost: Please see attached sheet in the registration packet. IEA is unique as it has rolling costs throughout the year that can vary, not a set fee.

​

The only fee due to Inspire for Equestrian is a $25 Admin Fee which will cover your Inspire Team Tee Shirt.

Registration Deadline: August 1 HOWEVER, the earlier you sign up, the earlier you can start riding with the team     

                                                                      

NOTE: CHS will require you to fill out additional liability paperwork and specific paperwork for IEA in addition to the Inspire Paperwork.

Forms may be dropped off in person -  Monday, June 10, 17, 24 and July 1st from 10 am to 12 noon at Lost Mountain Park, 4845 Dallas Hwy, Powder Springs.  We will be in the big covered pavilion when you first enter the park on the right, next to the playground. You can park on the left.

Or scanned and emailed to - inspirehsa@gmail.com and payment made via credit card.  An invoice will be sent once your registration for is received.

Shows: Horse Shows vary.  You can choose which ones you attend.  They are typically held weekends.
