Earth and Nature Arts
Earth and Nature Arts is a free-spirited and creative learning experience by using found elements, natural based materials, and recycled and upcycled items rather than many store bought materials to create different works of art. While giving glory to God for everything he gave us, students will learn to express their imagination through hands-on creating using what God has provided through nature and found materials. Some classes may be held outside as weather permits.
Some of the ideas we have planned are:
Make veggie and natural paints – make prints using natural items -
Paint with earth-based paints – papermaking -
Build projects using found items - Using textiles to make projects
Think differently about the items we use and toss every day and how we can repurpose those to keep the landfills less full.
